Mr. Toddler was very excited to sit with me at the computer and read the online children’s books. We read the preschool/toddler book together, and he loved the animation and music of the online book. I liked that it highlighted each word as it was being read. He asked for the book to be played, “Again and Again!” The fact that it left Mr. Toddler asking for more, I know we are onto a good product, and that makes me happy when it is EDUCATIONAL! My Review: Mr. Toddler loves his “DVD” time, and Balloonatiks is cute and kept his attention. The DVD is very animated, and the characters are brightly animated. Mr. Toddler likes the music in the background. The video is short, about 23 minutes, so we have watched it a few times in a row. Overall, I would say this DVD is a definite hit!

The simulated diamond earrings arrived in a cute little box and although they are small and dainty, they are adorable. The earrings are simulated diamonds, and are set in sterling silver. I have worn the earrings a few times, and they are simple, yet pretty. They will go with any outfit.

Review and Giveaway: Twinkle Twinkle Little Star Piano iPhone application

The developers at Kiboomu have recently come out with the Twinkle Twinkle Little Star Preschool Storybook Piano iPhone Application. I loved Twinkle Twinkle Little Star as a child, and my son is now a fan of the song too! This application is intuitive and helps teach children this classic song.
A little ABOUT this application:
With this play-a-song iPhone app, children can do the following:
- follow the lighted keys or match the colorful music notes to the piano keys
- watch the piano keys light up one by one with the song
- press the start button and sing along
- add animal sounds to the song
- hear the song played on a banjo, xylophone, harp, flute, bells and more!
- record your child singing and playing the piano!
- sing and read karaoke style lyrics in English, French & Spanish
My Review:
Mr. Toddler absolutely is a whiz at the iPhone, I think he knows how to work my phone better than I do. With that being said, I am always looking for fun and educational applications for my phone. So when I was given the chance to review the Twinkle Twinkle Piano iPhone application I was excited.
He was able to easily navigate this application, and he loves to play the piano keys. You are able to choose several different instruments for the sound, and you can even add animal sounds.
It also has several modes of play:
Mr. Toddler loves the free mode play, he likes to make up his own music. He also enjoys the karoake mode. This application definitely keeps his attention, and it is great when I need to keep him entertained. I would have to say that Mr. Toddler definitely would recommend this application to his friends! If you have a little one who loves music and nursery rhymes, I highly recommend this application.

I received one of the new Goodie Bags for this review and it is pretty cool-even my 2 year old son had fun playing with the contents. The Goodie bag includes a roto launcher (a spiraled plastic wand that shoots circular discs), sidewalk chalk, thunder sticks, and either a disc launcher or inflatable ball, depending on the franchise location. Moms are welcome to add other items of their choice.
My 2 year old particularly enjoyed the sidewalk chalk, he loved having us launch the roto launcher for him, and playing with the thunder sticks. These bags are a big hit because they include toys that encourage active play, and imagination, and they are quality items that children actually enjoy playing with.

My Review: This product is great, and it is easy to use. It comes with a Quick Start Guide that walks you through the features, and within seconds I was able to create my first painting. It was so easy, I think children would love this program too. There are several styles that the program can create. They include Oil, Impressionist, Modern, Illustration, Watercolor Sketch, Detailed Watercolor, Colored Pencil, Pencil Drawing, Pen and Ink, and Pastel. I was very impressed with how this program could take a picture and really create ART!

My Shutterfly Experience, Review and Giveaway

I really like using Shutterfly for my photo needs. Not only can you photo share and print photos, but you can create photobooks, cards, party invitations, posters, and photo gifts! I have had several photobooks made to capture my families memories, and I have been happy with every one of them.
