Old MacDonald iPhone Piano Application by Kiboomu Review and Giveaway

With this play-a-song iPhone/iPad application, children can do the following:
- Follow the lighted keys or match the colorful music notes to the piano keys

- Hear the song played on a banjo, xylophone, harp, flute, bells and more!
- Record your child singing and playing the piano!

Review: I recently was able to review a few other of the Kiboomu products, Top 30 Preschool Songs, and the Twinkle Twinkle iPhone application. I just received Kiboomu’s newest application to review, Old MacDonald Piano. I downloaded it onto our iPad for Mr. Toddler. There are four different modes you can use; play and sing along, learn the song, karaoke mode or free style mode. You can even change the key sounds to different instruments, and the graphics are great on this application.
The learn the song mode was my favorite, as it brought me back to my childhood days of learning to play the piano. However, this mode was a bit more difficult for Mr. Toddler at 2 and 1/2. But he loved the play and sing along mode, and the free style piano modes. He loves to play this application daily! He has been walking around the house singing Old MacDonald, and it is quite cute. I really like this application it because it provides a little bit of education TOO!
For 1.99 I definitely give this application two thumbs up!

Top 30 Preschool Songs CD from Kiboomu Review and Giveaway

Children develop a love of music at an early age. I remember watching Mr. Toddler’s eyes light up, and he would smile as an infant when we would play music at home. Mr. Toddler is now in preschool, and learning fun songs, so when I was asked to review The Top 30 Preschool Songs CD from Kiboomu, I was excited to check it out.
This CD, which is available via iTunes, contains thirty tracks of child-friendly music that range from loved classics and nursery rhymes worked into more modern children’s melodies. Your child will definitely love this CD, and you will recognize several of the songs. Many of the songs are educational, and children will learn as they listen. I like The Days of the Week, I Love Colors, and One, Two, Buckle my Shoe. Mr. Toddler loved listening to some of his favorite children’s songs like The Wheels on the Bus, BINGO, If You’re Happy and You Know it, and his favorite, Ring Around the Rosie! We listen to the songs in the car, and he asks me repeatedly, to play his favorites over and over again. It is a great addition to our car rides to keep him occupied! Even when we are not listening to the CD, I find Mr. Toddler singing his favorite songs around the house.
The Top 30 Preschool Songs is just one of the many CDs that Kiboomu offers. The company focuses on providing age-appropriate music for children that is fun, and educational. The developers at Kiboomu have recently come out with the Twinkle Twinkle Little Star Preschool Storybook Piano iPhone Application. I loved Twinkle Twinkle Little Star as a child, and my son is now a fan of the song too! This application is intuitive and helps teach children this classic song.

My Review:
Mr. Toddler absolutely is a whiz at the iPhone, I think he knows how to work my phone better than I do. With that being said, I am always looking for fun and educational applications for my phone. So when I was given the chance to review the Twinkle Twinkle Piano iPhone application I was excited.
He was able to easily navigate this application, and he loves to play the piano keys. You are able to choose several different instruments for the sound, and you can even add animal sounds.
It also has several modes of play:
Mr. Toddler loves the free mode play, he likes to make up his own music. He also enjoys the karoake mode. This application definitely keeps his attention, and it is great when I need to keep him entertained. I would have to say that Mr. Toddler definitely would recommend this application to his friends! If you have a little one who loves music and nursery rhymes, I highly recommend this application.
